Group Analytic Therapy: The Power of Real-World Connection

Group therapy offers a unique path to understanding how you are with others, a distinct and powerful experience compared to individual therapy. It's a space to reflect on your inner world and how your interactions unfold in real time within the group. Here, you'll gain unique insights into how others perceive you and recognize patterns that might create distance or stress. While challenging, it's a caring, intimate, and consistent environment for profound personal and relational growth. You'll get diverse perspectives, gain clarity on past influences, manage emotions, and draw immense strength from shared vulnerabilities. Through this process, you learn how to be more at ease or with less stress in your daily life.

This therapy is particularly effective for building fulfilling relationships with partners, friends, and colleagues. The group mirrors your external world, offering a safe place to explore and practice new ways of relating. Our struggles often stem from deep roots; the group's safety helps us "open the box" to understand and heal from past events, leading to lasting change. As group analytic psychotherapy, it aims for healthier integration within your relational network. It's an opportunity to think further about how you want to go forward in your life.

Our groups meet for 90 minutes twice weekly. This increased frequency fosters a different level of intimacy and support, benefiting each individual and the group as a whole. Sessions are specifically available early mornings (6:30 AM - 8:00 AM) to suit those with work commitments. Our diverse groups welcome individuals across genders, ages, ethnicities, and sexualities, addressing concerns from relationships and work stress to anxiety, depression, and personal development.

Is This Group Right For You?

Finding the right fit is crucial. Before joining, you'll have pre-group consultations with me. This is a mutual process for us to consider if you're ready for group therapy in general, and if this specific group would be the right fit for you and your unique needs. If a different specialist would serve you better, I'll provide suitable referrals.
